Held annually in Spring, our District Conference is an opportunity for having fun, attending educational workshops, networking, sharing, skill building, electing leadership, and celebrating our accomplishments.
We had a great time in Gadsden, Alabama, at the 70th Annual District Four Conference April 25th-28th, 2024! Thank you, Gadsden.
Now, get ready, because in 2025 we’re going to Clarksville – April 10 – 13, where we will be “Cultivating Kindness”!
Altrusa International of Thibodaux, Louisiana has launched its latest project – Read Relax Renew – to benefit the community it serves! We have donated bookshelves and books to several areas within Thibodaux Regional Cancer Center. There are Ladies and Gents waiting areas within the Radiation Suite, as well as the Treatment Areas on Floor 2, where patients receive their Chemo or Immunotherapy…often for hours at a time! But there is still more to do…
WE NEED: Volunteers to assist us in collecting and sorting donated books, and placing stickers within the books to let people know they are encouraged to take the books home with them!
WE NEED: Volunteers to help with the ongoing distribution of books within the areas, ensuring all locations are kept stocked with appropriate materials.
WE NEED: Donations of books (new or gently used), or money to purchase same!

The 58th Altrusa International Convention was held July 19-22, 2023, in San Antonio, Texas.
Our next International Convention will be in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada on Wednesday, July 23 thru Saturday, July 26, 2025.
